Welcome to my lovely new blog.

I am more than thrilled that you have taken a moment to stop in.

I've been keeping a family blog for the last few years. There I have shared my tales of moving to Seattle, being married to a med student, having a child, and then sharing a few hundred pictures of that child in every outfit and holiday situation possible.

I decided recently that I needed a place to write about my experience as singer-songwriter and the adventures that come with the territory. I am launching a new season of making music that will including writing songs for my new record. My plan is to start recording my fourth album this summer with the talented producer, Scott Wiley. I am also starting a campaign to raise money to make this album. Being an independent artist means many things, one being that I have no financial backing from a record label. Starting soon on my website there will be an option to PRE-ORDER the album in various option packages...all of course overflowing in awesomeness.

My husband just called from the living room announcing our date with the series "LOST" so naturally I have to go. BUT, I have a lot to tell you about, including my recent adventure as an artist on the CAYAMO cruise along side Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, Brandi Carlile, Darrell Scott (are you drooling yet...I still am just thinking about it).
