Songwriting with a toddler
often I have people ask me WHEN to I find the time to
write songs.
usually I use June's nap time to write. sometimes
after her bedtime. ("sweet hour of naps, sweet
hour of naps")
but sometimes there is an overlap where I am trying
to finish something and she is roaming around.
this audio clip will illustrate.
so funny.

She's even in the right key. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteMom's are the ultimate multi-taskers! So cute, thanks for sharing. :-)
ReplyDeleteHilarious. I raised 4 kids, the same kind of thing went on in my household, but I wasn't as patient as you!
ReplyDeleteThis is too cute... I dont know how you juggle it all. You are quite the woman! If you ever want someone to take Junie off your hands, I am here!
ReplyDeleteSo fun. We've got a quite a few songs recorded with the sound of our kids hooting and hollering in the background. It makes for a good memory. And now that our oldest is almost five it's fun to make recordings around her piano improvs. It's great to hear what you're up to!!
ReplyDeleteFinally got a chance to listen to this. So great. Warms my heart. See, you could go to an office every day and not have to multitask ... but what would be the fun of that??
